This is a very large custom Edge Grain Maple board we made for a customer, but got the dimensions wrong. Oops! Our mistake is your gain! This is large enough to make into a small island or add legs to make it a cart. It is 29" x 22" so will definitely serve all your chopping needs. It will be too large to store, so you'll need a nice counter space for it. It's a beautiful board that is waiting for the right home!
We rarely make Edge Grain Boards, but they are just as pretty as our End Grain. An edge grain board is built with long strips of wood glued together laterally. An end grain block is comprised of lots of smaller blocks of wood glued vertically. You can learn more about the difference in this video if you are interested.
