Finger Grooves (+$15)

This was everything I wanted. Nice and thick, easy to clean, looks great. Love it so much

I was looking for a good looking board that was functional and easy on my knives. I keep this board out and it looks amazing.

A bot (apparently) is asking me what I think about Finger Groves because they appear on my invoice, but they appeared there just to note I don't want them! But actually, now that I've had the beautiful boards for a couple of weeks I do have an opinion: I'm glad I didn't get the finger grooves because I got feet and I like the aesthetic without them. With feet the boards are easy to pick up and the natural way to do so has your fingers on the bottom. At least that's what I find. I'm also very happy with the backside juice groove I got on my larger board in that it naturally acts like a finger groove when I pick that board up - it's right where my fingertips end up. I don't miss that on the smaller board... both are easy to pick up regardless due to having the feet. In both cases I'm glad not to have side grooves from the standpoint of aesthetics and how they would interrupt the smoooooth beauty. But I can see they are probably really great if you don't have the feet and the backside juice groove I did get was smooth and well-crafted. ReviewBot, you didn't, ask but the boards themselves are great!

Fingergrooves are essential on my board because I didn't get feet. They work perfectly!

The board is gorgeous and standing up to washing an and cutting really well so far. I adore it!
