Order Lead Time

As a small, family-owned business, we take pride in crafting each butcher block by hand. We’ve had a large influx of orders over the past week, and we have been working our tails off trying to keep up. As always, quality is our top priority. I’m very pleased with the quality of what we are producing. I think you will be, too.

We are currently running a 2 week fabrication lead time on orders.* We will do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but we ask for your patience as each board must be made by hand and we have many orders in our queue. Any orders placed today will arrive before Christmas.

If needed, we can adjust the shipping address on orders prior to shipment. Please reach out to us directly at sawdust@theboardsmith.com with any shipping adjustments or concerns.

* The lead time excludes custom boards which will take longer to fabricate. Certain items like care kits (ordered on their own), feet sets (ordered on their own), and discounted one-off boards will ship sooner.
