My walnut and maple board was all I could have asked for and more. Beautiful, sturdy, just magnifique. I see myself using the same board for as long as I can continue cooking; The Boardsmith clearly cares about their customers and products and I am very fortunate to know a manufacturer of such wonderful goods!

I love to cook and am a very picky person when it comes to my kitchen stuff. As a cabinet maker and someone that has an eye for and an attention to detail, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I ordered the 18" x 24" Big Block with the Black Walnut and Maple Brick Pattern. While the price point is high, and the time it takes to manufacture is long, please understand that the quality and artful craftsmanship of matching the grain of the wood is unmatched and well worth it. If I have a complaint, it would be that it is so pretty, that I am scared to use it. I will probably start with a cutting board on top of the cutting board so that I don't mess up this beautiful masterpiece, which is a good problem to have. This multifunctional piece can also be used as a serving vehicle like a charcuterie board. I would and probably will be purchasing another one. The ownership and staff are friendly and helpful with customization like finger and juice grooves, engraving, and also offer products to help maintain the integrity of your cutting board to enhance the longevity and elongate its lifespan as well. I hope to have mine for many years to come and for the rest of my life so that I can pass it on as a family heirloom. I highly suggest working with this small business. If you are seeking the best cutting board ever, look no further!
Purchased the Walnut and Maple cutting board in the Big Block size. The Boardsmith team worked with us before and during the purchase to make sure an engraving would work out correctly. The end product is absolutely gorgeous and I love kitchen prep on it. It’s also a major centerpiece of our kitchen now. Thrilled and couldn’t be happier.
