Walnut & Maple 'Brick' End Grain Cutting Board

The hand-crafted walnut and maple brick pattern end-grain cutting boards are made with sustainably harvested wood.

Be sure to order well in advance, as these brick pattern cutting boards are labor-intensive and made-to-order. Allow for several weeks prior to shipping.

We carefully join solid hardwood using a professional-grade, waterproof adhesive that is FDA-approved for indirect food contact (an extra step many makers skip because it is 3 times the cost of cheaper glues). Thanks to the precision of our joinery and the unusually large solid wood blocks we use; your knife almost exclusively contacts wood when you chop. We did the math, and the total amount of glue your knife could encounter (on both faces of the board) is roughly equivalent to the size of a single grain of table salt.

We finish every board by hand with food-safe oil and Board Butter—because real craftsmanship means choosing quality, proven, and safe materials and doing things the right way, not the fast way.
