This end grain board exceeded my expectations on every level, offsetting the two month wait for its handmade manufacture (I managed to stop thinking about it with such excitement after the orders were placed)
Suggest adding the smaller companion board in an offset color (Maple) for a nice contrast. Also add the juice channel and feet to the bottom side for flexibility in use.
Quality - heirloom. Weight - substantial !
Handmade - obvious attention to detail, so smooth!!
Follow the directions and oil weekly for a few weeks then apply their board butter before use. It’s worth that wait, too!
Also love the fact that is made in the USA and supports a family business!! I purchased three boards - outstanding !!!
