This lovely board is what we consider a "one-off". We occasionally have to trim a board down for one reason or another. That was the case with this beauty. It started as a Carolina 22 x 16 size and needed to be trimmed just a bit. The board was worth saving, so we're offering a discount on a beautiful board.
This is considered a high contrast board with lots of pretty sap wood. We love the look of the contrast. It also has a couple of streaks organic to the wood that look like a scratch mark to some. Those aren't scratches. They are more like scars in the wood that can't totally be avoided. There is nothing wrong with the wood. It is just natural discoloration just like we get on our skin.
