463 Maple 24 x 18 x 2 with Bottom Juice Groove & Finger Grooves & Feet

Occasionally we have a pretty board that has a few more voids or mineral streaks than we'd like to see on what we consider our premium boards. As we know from Wisdom Behind the Wood, almost all Maple has mineral streaks. It is the nature of Maple. We try to minimize them when we can, but they don't affect quality, form or function. But we give them a little discount because they might not match everyone's personal aesthetic preference.

Even though we have our system down to a science and have an extremely skilled team, sometimes the board just doesn't fully cooperate. Even though this board is completely structurally sound, we don't like for the glue joints to be as visible. In Maple it is a little less noticeable, and in Walnut it tends to stand out a little more. Either way, our goal is tighter glue joints, so we gave this one a discount since it isn't perfect.

This board already comes equipped with Finger Grooves and a Bottom Juice Groove. Engraving is also available for a small fee.

Feet have already been added to this board.

Maple cutting boards need a lot of oil, so please don't forget to add a care kit! All cutting boards need to be oiled to full saturation, but especially maple!
