NEW! We've crafted a limited release set of 4 wooden utensils. Each wooden utensil set includes one mesquite knife, one hard maple scraper, and two mesquite spatulas. The mesquite knife is perfect as a wooden spreader for dips or soft cheeses on a charcuterie board. The hard maple wooden scraper is great for deglazing a skillet, and is safe to use on a non-stick surface. The mesquite spatulas can be used as a pair or individually, and double as salad tongs.
We paid special attention to the details on these. The spatulas have thin tapers on both ends, allowing for gentle scraping as well as getting down into smaller food jars. The scraper is heavy duty hard maple, and has a chisel point on the end, allowing for heavier work. And the mesquite spreader is artfully hand-sculpted, fitting the hand nicely with a just-right 'edge' for spreading.
Mesquite spreader: 7" long X 1 1/4" wide
Maple scraper: 9 1/4" long X 2" wide
Mesquite spatulas: 12" long X 1 3/4" wide
*** Note: We've recently changed the wood species of some of our utensils. The first two photos in this gallery have been updated to reflect those changes. We plan to update all photos shortly.
This set was everything I was looking for in a set of wooden scrapers/utensils! Love the homemade quality! Highly recommend.
Hello My friends,
Yes, these utensil are great…
My only feedback for you is that I like the flat edge utensil's to be a bit longer. These utensils are for perfect for skillet cooking, but I like it to be a bit longer, so I can stir, when making soups in a large pot.
I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas. He loves how smooth the surface is and the legs are perfect for stability. Easy to clean and oil. Thank you very much for enhancing his culinary skills!
This set is the perfect gift for any foodie or anyone who loves to cook for that matter. I recently used these utensils for two dishes - one hot and one cold. The spatulas were ideal for mixing my wonton recipe and really easy to clean. I also cooked a pulled pork dish with hot sauce (and was worried the spatula would stain). And, again easy to clean and it did not. My only complaint would be they are way too beautiful to put in a drawer. High quality craftmanship at its best - and highly recommend anything from The Boardsmith for that matter.
Excellent product and service. Highly recommend.
