This beautiful little board is what we consider a "one-off". We occasionally have to trim a board down for one reason or another. That was the case with this beauty. It's smaller than our Butcher size and bigger than our Sidekick size.
Feet WILL be installed on this board unless you ask us not to.
Most Maple has mineral marks within the wood. It is how the tree grows with its unique indiosyncracies. Since Maple is a lighter wood, those mineral streaks are very visible. These marks can't totally be avoided even though we aim for the cleanest looking boards. In this case, the board is very "clean", meaning few mineral marks are visible.
You can also order finger grooves, a juice groove and/or engraving at checkout.
Maple cutting boards need a lot of oil, so please don't forget to add a care kit! All cutting boards need to be oiled to full saturation, but especially maple!
