This beautiful little board is what we consider a "one-off". We occasionally have to trim a board down for one reason or another. That was the case with this beauty. It's just a little smaller than our normal Butcher 18 x 12.
Most maple has some mineral streaks or spots that are organic to the wood. We can't control how the wood grows or exactly what the grain will look like. But a few small streaks or spots are totally normal for maple and will not affect the integrity of the board.
A Bottom Groove has already been added. Feet WILL be installed on this board unless you ask us not to. Finger grooves and/or engraving are also available for a small fee.
Maple cutting boards need a lot of oil, so please don't forget to add a care kit! All cutting boards need to be oiled to full saturation, but especially maple!
