This beautiful board is what we consider a "one-off". We occasionally have to trim a board down for one reason or another. That was the case with this beauty. It's a little smaller than our normal Butcher 18 x 12 size.
Walnut is always a good choice for your kitchen. Easy on a knife's edge, lighter than Maple, and easier to maintain. This one is a little darker than most of the Walnut wood we get, with just a little sap wood. This one also has a couple of knots/filled voids, so it gets a discount for that as well. Don't worry - it doesn't affect the integrity of the board!
We WILL install feet unless you ask us not to. You can also add grooves and/or engraving for a small fee.
