We were conflicted over this one. Our staff thinks this one is very pretty board. But since it had some larger than usual mineral streaks, we relegated it to the Seconds page with a small discount. But truly, that was a tough decision because we love this one and know the right person will give it a good home!
All maple has some marking or streaking that is organic to the wood. You can read more about it Wisdom Behind the Wood and FAQ (under Trouble Shooting). It doesn't affect form or function.
