We can't control how the wood grows or exactly what the grain will look like. But a few small streaks or spots are totally normal for maple and will not affect the integrity of the board.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA Bottom Groove has already been added. Feet WILL be installed on this board unless you ask us not to.
